Ride Home

Started to cycle to work again, so I'm going to start taking more pics with my iPhone. Here is Sacred Trinity Church in Salford..... & a near by bridge that was lit up.

Munich

Here's a shot of the old Olympic park in Munich in about 2006

Albert Hall

Took this with my iPhone and edited on my iPad using Snapseed app. It's such a cool app and so easy to use.....

Manchester

Images taken with my iPhone over the last couple of days.......

Red Cloud Photography

I was in London last weekend as I was bought a Red Cloud photography course for christmas. Got to say it was excellent and the tutor was brilliant. I would recommended the course I was on for beginners like me. You can get more info at www.redcoulddays.com

Islington Mill & Errors

I recently invited myself down to Islington Mill to see if I could get any decent shots of a gig for the mill. My camera really struggled in the low light and I was really disappointed with the results. I also made the school boy error of not getting a set list and got caught out as they came off before I got started really..... Got to say the venue is brilliant, so if you get the chance get down for a beer or a gig. Details at www.islingtonmill.com

London

Off to Ye Old London town next week for a photography course. Love going to London it always makes me feel like Oliver !!!!

Hit the North 2012

A little video from Hit the North 2012 - Philips Park, Manchester 04/02/2012

Picasa

Just downloaded Picasa for Mac and it seems you can do a lot more with your pictures than you could on Windows.....or maybe I just did not use it fully as my Windows machine was painfully slow...  Just edited these basic stuff but I like it....

Hit the North - Manchester 04/02/2012

There was a local bike ride in Philips Park, Manchester and I headed down to try and get some photos for the competitors. Being February in Manchester the light was poor so with my camera the results were not great. I use a Cannon SX30 IS with a speedlite 270ex ii but getting fast moving objects was really difficult using the flash was a killer...... So I used the manual setting and did the best I could....
